The workshop gives a deeper dive into how artificial intelligence works, what it’s being used for in neuroscience and provides a deeper look into how MINT uses AI in its upcoming neurorobotics project.
Partnering with people with lived experience of dementia
The Alzheimer Society of B.C. believe it is critical that people living with dementia and caregivers have opportunities to purposefully participate in a way that recognizes their unique perspectives, experiences and abilities. In this presentation you will learn about the Alzheimer Society of B.C.’s lived experience framework guide and hear the firsthand experiences of one of our Lived Experience Partners, Dr. Jim Mann.

After Graduation: Career Avenues
Lifestyle-intervention program for people with chronic brain conditions, care partners and healthy agers.
The BC Brain Wellness are leveraging the collective power of clinical care, lifestyle intervention programs, education, and research to design a comprehensive and integrated approach to brain wellness and healthier lifestyle. We support to improve and sustain quality of life for people living with chronic brain conditions, their caregivers, and healthy agers. The program is supported through generous donors and interdisciplinary collaboration with faculties and students.
